I am a Dominant male who is a member of the Phoenix, Arizona lifestyle community where I find myself enjoying the camaraderie with those who share my deep love of the fetish lifestyle. My personal lifestyle approach centers on the Master/slave (M/s) dynamic and its practice in day to day life.
I love working with my hands and have a talent with jewelry, leather, metal and wood fabrication as well as a good working understanding of mechanical engineering design and implementation. This allows me to find great joy in "kinkifying" most anything I come across. I have been known to cruise the thrift stores and stop in front of an item and just look at it for a long time (15 minutes or more sometimes) as I think of all the ways to "re-purpose" the item in a kinky fashion. When I was unable to find fun items to "re-purpose" I would design my own items from scratch for whatever devious, kinky fetish use I came up with at the time.
One thing I noticed fairly early on in my personal fetish journey into my Mastery; it was hard to find interesting and well made jewelry to be used as M/s collars that could be worn every day in the "vanilla" world without the item screaming "slave" to everyone that glanced at it. This compelled me to start making "daily wear" collars for slaves to wear out in the "vanilla" world that could still carry the same meaning for the Master and slave but that would not create an "issue" in the slaves' "vanilla" life interactions. The prototypes for my current line of daily wear collars (see the "Chained Heart" and "Affirmation Necklace") were originally made for my personal use with slaves serving me.
I also found, during my journey, I did not "like" the available "fetish collars" due, either to the "dog collar" feel, or the low quality materials and manufacturing. This led me to design and build some prototypes of what is now my "Unique" fetish collar line.

The most common question I get about the business is "Why would a "Software Quality Assurance Manager" start a fetish business selling adult products?". The answer to that question is, like most things in life, not very straight forward. I will try to tell you without boring you too much. (Then again, if you were not already "bored", would you even be reading this part of my website?). Can I write any tripe I want here and get away with it, because no one will ever read it? Well that is really a question for a marketing analyst or something, so I won't explore it any further (and there was much rejoicing. Yeah!!!).
I have been blessed in my life with success in real estate investing, as well as a career as a middle manager in the technology industry. When the economy started to have problems in 2008, many technology companies reduced the number of managers. The hardest hit were the middle managers and especially hard hit were the quality assurance groups. Most companies "slowed" their development work or even "froze" the products while they waited to see what would happen in the market. This resulted in me finding myself unemployed in a very tough job market, while holding a four plex and two homes in a real estate market that was tanking. The stage is set, now for the spark that set it all in motion.
One day as I am searching the job boards and sending out resumes etc., I get a call from my friend slave penny (Yes penny, this is all "your fault"!). She asks me if I could take a look at a fetish bed she found online. She wanted to know if I could make one like it but not for the high price tag of $5,000+ the other web site wanted. She knew I was rather handy with creating things and I had worked for a little over a year building custom cabinets when I was just out of high school. I took a look at the bed and made a "rough draft" of the materials list that would be needed to make it. I then priced these items and found that I could in fact make a similar fetish bed for much less than the web site she had shown me. In addition I had thought of a few ways to "enhance" the functionality and usage of the bed for the fetish minded while still reducing the cost. It occurred to me that I should start a small fetish business to make the bed I had just designed and sell them, and the business was conceived.
Over the course of the next month while doing research on the fetish furniture business I determined that the viability of a business of this type with "non-consumable" and high price point items was not very good. I then started looking at my own fetish lifestyle to determine what I could use to create product lines that would have a price point that was more in line with what the "average" fetish consumer could afford and would spend. That led me to the inclusion of the collars I had created into the business' product lines. I named the company BDbySM (Bondage Discipline by Sir Mark), proceeded to incorporate it and to flesh out its goals and mission.
I decided that I wanted to have a business that would create products that were of a very high quality and that were unique in design. At this point I had two product groupings, collars and furniture. I determined, if BDbySM was going to be successful as an adult fetish business, it really needed access to more traditional items in addition to the custom built products. This decision led to locating an adult product distributor and signing a vendor's agreement, thus giving BDbySM access to a small phone book worth of adult products.
At this point it was just a matter of executing a manufacturing and marketing plan. The website was developed, and advertising was done that resulted in you being here and reading this (if you have not passed out from sheer exhaustion at its length yet). BDbySM is a local business in Phoenix, AZ where Sir Mark is an active participant in the local BDSM community.
